（三）语法重点

强调句型：

（1） 英语中加强语气的方式很多，在书面语中常用的是强调句型it is (was)…that (who)…, 它可以用来强调主语、宾语和状语。
It was Tom who (that) met your sister in the zoo yesterday.
是汤姆昨天在动物园里碰到你妹妹的。 （强调主语）
It was your sister that (whom) Tom met in the zoo yesterday.
汤姆昨天在动物园里碰到的是你妹妹。 （强调宾语）
It was in the zoo that (不用where) Tom met your sister yesterday.
汤姆昨天是在动物园里碰到你妹妹的。 （强调地点状语）
It was yesterday that (不用when) Tom met your sister in the zoo.
汤姆是昨天在动物园里碰到你妹妹的。 （强调时间状语）

（2） 强调句型中的主谓一致
当所强调的部分为主语时，应注意that 或who 后的动词数的变化。
It is I who am responsible for the accident. 应该由我来承担这场事故的责任。

（3） 强调句型与其它句型的对比
It was midnight when we got back home. (When 引导时间状语从句)
It was at midnight that we got back home. （强调句型）

It was the zoo where I met you. (Where 引导地点状语从句)
It was in the zoo that I met you. （强调句型）

（4） 强调句型与其它句型的并用
It was during the two hours when you were away that they had fought. 他们正是在你离开的两小时内打的架。（黑体字和下划线部分为强调句型）
It is the things that make them rich that also make them unpleasant. 使他们烦恼的正是使他们致富的东西。（黑体字和下划线部分为强调句型）
